I had a brief conversation today with someone I work with whose husband and mother are ministers. It got me thinking about a couple of things. I believe that the Bible is the TRUE word of God. Yes there are several translations, but in general, from the ones I have read from, they are mostly in agreement and the differences are not significant (remember I said in general). Se here are a couple of questions: If you don’t believe in the literal reading of the Bible, can you truly believe in God? Are you saying you don’t believe it is God’s word? Are you just trying to justify your own spin on things? If you don’t believe God made the world in seven days as the Bible states, why? Is it because you don’t think it is possible? Or is it because you believe the evolutionist theories? Remember, these are theories only and NOT fact. And I would argue, that there is plenty of evidence to refute the theories. Most of my sites use DNN including this one. I have been swamped at work and home and haven’t been logging on much lately so haven’t been posting. I use Live Writer at work for my internal status updates blog on our SharePoint, and wanted to see if I could use it for DNN. A quick search and sure enough, it will work. This is my first attempt at a post with Live Writer. If it works, maybe I will actually post more often.
Haven't had much time to do anything other than read a few articles and my email. Here are a couple more links that I thought were good reading in regards to the financial crap that is going on. WOW! Two posts in a night...Kind of fun. Never done this before but here is an interview that has some excellent comments regarding Gov. Palen made by Rep. Heather Wilson of NM.
A lot of the taking heads have been touting the move by McCain to select Sarah Palin as his running mate as a move to get women voters. The one thing they are either missing or glossing over is that she was the BEST choice for McCain to rally the conservative base. Palin is a true down to earth conservative who is from outside the beltway and actually bets me excited about the election now. Before the pick, I was planning on voting for McCain, primarily against Obama and not necessarily for McCain. This pick has turned my vote from a negative vote to a possative. Now I am excited to vote for McCain/Palin! I think this choice will move the conservative base of the Republican Party to action. Whereas before there was a lot of complacency. GO McCAIN/PALIN!!!

So while I am working like crazy trying to make progress on our in house app rewrite that I am succeeding in getting further and further behind on, I need a few distraction. A couple of people have asked me to host and design new sites for them. So I am in the process of getting them up and running. A buddy of mine and his family started a new part time business and had me put up www.doggonecrazyhotdogs.com for them.
